Snap on silicone rubber insulation sleeve (also known as open silicone tube or bird pecker tube) is widely used in various line systems such as substation protection engineering and railway contact network, and its effectiveness is particularly significant in cross line applications. This series of products has a novel design, easy installation, and is made of high-quality silicone rubber material. It has excellent electrical, anti leakage, anti trace, and halogen-free flame retardant properties, excellent weather resistance, high mechanical performance, hydrophobicity and hydrophobicity migration, and extremely excellent high and low temperature resistance. It can be continuously used under conditions of -50 ℃~+150 ℃. When in use, simply clean and tighten the bare wire, fasten the protective sleeve, and the installation is convenient, simple, and time-saving.  According to the difference in materials, it can be divided into three series: ordinary type, flame retardant type, and ceramic fireproof and fire-resistant type.

1. On site installation and disassembly are simple and fast, which can greatly shorten the maintenance power outage time and overcome the disadvantages of long manual winding time and long power outage required for the wrapping tape; 2. No hot work is required during installation and disassembly, which is softer and more resistant to bending than plastic opening pipes. The installation and disassembly operations are easy and convenient, and the operators do not need professional training, overcoming the trouble of using a flame certificate when wrapping the tape;

3. It has a longer service life than plastic sheath and wrapping tape, up to 20-30 years. It is anti-aging, corrosion resistant, has good corona resistance, high and low temperature resistance, excellent mechanical and electrical insulation properties, low density, good flame retardancy, halogen-free, and heavy metal free. It is an upgraded product of wrapping tape, plastic sheath, and heat shrinkable materials. 4. Ensure the safe operation of electrical equipment, especially ceramic fireproof and fire-resistant products, which will not cause fires under overload and high temperature conditions.
